I get it. That feeling of entering the same information into yet another platform is genuinely demoralising. It's why a lot of hosts look at new tools and just think "not today."

This is something I thought about a lot when building StayAnswered. The setup had to be fast, and it had to respect the fact that hosts are already drowning in platforms.

The 15-minute version

Here's what the actual setup looks like:

Option 1 (fastest): Paste a link to your Airbnb listing or existing guidebook. We'll extract the relevant information automatically. You review it, tweak anything that needs tweaking, and you're done. This takes about 10 minutes.

Option 2: Type in your most-asked questions. If you'd rather start from scratch, you can type or paste the answers to the questions guests always ask. WiFi, parking, checkout, appliances, house rules. Most hosts knock this out in 15 minutes because they already know these answers by heart — they've typed them hundreds of times in messages.

That's it. No PMS integration. No API keys. No channel manager. No syncing. No technical skills.

Why no integrations?

This is a deliberate choice, not a limitation.

StayAnswered doesn't need to know when your guests are arriving or what platform they booked through. It doesn't need calendar access or pricing data. It does one thing: answers guest questions using the information you provide.

The QR code works the same whether the guest booked through Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, or your own website. It works if they're a friend staying for the weekend. It works if you're renting out your bach over summer and you've never used a booking platform in your life.

That simplicity is the point. No dependencies. No things that can break. No accounts to connect.

After setup, we email you a printable QR code. You stick it on the fridge, the welcome folder, the bedside table — wherever guests will see it. They scan with their phone camera (no app needed), type a question, and get your answer instantly.

You can update your answers anytime. Changes take effect immediately. If a guest asks something you haven't covered, they're told to message you directly — no hallucinated answers, no made-up information.
